A group of Terns roosting on a sand bar at high tide was a nice surprise, this was whilst searching for Malaysian Plovers.

Great and Lesser Crested, Common and Little Terns. This shot shows good comparison between both Great and Lesser Crested Terns.

Malaysian Plover(1 of 3)this is only the second time I have seen this species the last time was at Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park many years ago. Another flag ringed bird, Black over Green (you already know where its from). This site also held over 30 Sanderling in winter plumage,20+ KP's and a single Greater Sandplover. There were also signs of migration with 60+ Swallows and 3 Blue Tailed Bee eaters flying in off of the sea and along the beach.
