Return to Corvo, This is my sixth visit to Corvo and the fourth in October. I thought id publish a few of my favorite photo's of the island.

Corvo back in the day, 1970 actually,Look at the Islands housing then, the area of fields and the lack of runway. I took this photo from an old photo hanging up on the wall of Vickie's(The Islands Hairdresser)I have never had a haircut before where you get given a slice of cake and a cup of tea after for free after.! Result! "Eat your heart out Cream Tea Birding!"
Corvo now in 2009, sporting a new runway and new housing.
This picture is great and gives a true understanding of exactly what Corvo is, Basically, a Volcanic Island, sticking out of the Sea, Isolated, Barren, wild, unique and situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean......
