Red Breasted Goose at Wallasea Island....

One of two, of today's Video's

Had a good day today, started off at Wallasea Island in search of the Red Breasted Goose, which after being distant and flighty it finally showed well. A cracking bird and well worth the walk and the wait to get decent views.
One of the first views of the Brent Goose flock, an estimated 1000+-1200+ with Red Breasted Goose, 2 pale Bellied "types" and a probable Black Brant. The above photo shows you part of the Bewick's Swan group present in the back ground.
One of 5 Bewicks on the approach road to the site with the remainder of the group out in the distance near the Brent flock.
Red Breasted Goose and Pale bellied "type" Brent Goose in amongst the flock of 1000-1200 present at Wallasea. Wallasea keeps on delivering and the site is proving its worth.

Also had a look at Wat Tyler for the Slav Grebe but no sign, but a single Greenshank and 3 Ruff were nice to see and also the adjacent fields of Fobbing looking rather flooded and in good condition.
Very Rarely I include 2 Video Clips on a single posting but being such a good bird I just thought id share My favourite video clip of today.
