Vange Marsh

I had a lot to get done today and so I after it was all completed I took a stroll out over to Vange Marsh. A fresh breeze helped clear the head and also the cobwebs away. I had a scan from the Seawall where a handful each of Shoveler, Wigeon, Teal, Tufted Duck and a pair of Little Grebes. 3 Avocets and 2 Curlews were the only Waders present. A little Egret drifted over head and Cetti's Warblers were ever vocal.

Spent some time in certain sections of the reed bed just to see if there were any early Sedge or Reed Warblers present but again no sign, however it was nice to be out and get some fresh air...
