Another one of the intertidal tributaries of Vange Creek, the photo above shows the boundary between Vange Wick and the EWT part of Fobbing Marsh.
Had another wander over the Marshes today,it seemed quiet today compared to the previous 2 visits. No Wheatears today but 2 Yellow Wags, 2 Red Legged Partridge, Plenty of activity in the reed bed with Reed and Sedge Warblers very abbundant and vocal. Raptors came in the form of Kestrel, Hobby, Peregine and Sparrowhawk. It was a mixed affair with Waders today with Greenshank decreasing to 11, Yet Spotted Redshank increased to 2 with the new bird (for myself) appearing much more advanced in Summer plumage appearing almost totally black. 2 Pairs of Lapwing, 3 Avocet and a single Redshank and a pair of Oyc's.
