A complete Circuit of the Marshes today was a nice but quiet event. The above photo shows one of the fresh water channels on Fobbing Marsh just the other side of the Vange Wick / Fobbing boundary. Started at Vange Marsh, Through to the Wick, Over to Fobbing and Back to Vange.
Today's sightings: Med Gull 1 Ad summer, Common Buzzard 1 (drifted over the Reed bed towards Wat Tyler whilst I stopped for lunch), Hobby 1, Waders were few and far between with 7 Greenshank, 2 Redshank, 2 Avocet, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 pair of Lapwing.
