Not many Knot

Hit the point today in order to search for more colour-flag ringed Knot in the roost and during the run off of the high tide. Though today I drew a blank, I did see a colour ringed Knot but lost it as soon as I got on it amongst the masses. There was a group of around 1400+ birds but due to 2 strikes by an adult Peregrine at high tide and another 2 strikes by an immature Peregrine durring the run off the birds mostly dispersed and wouldn't settle.
Totals for today are as follows: Purple Sandpiper 1 roosting amongst the Dunlin (above 2 photos) Bar tailed Godwit 6, Oystercatcher 1000+, Eider 1 female, Med gull 2, 1 ad & 1 1st winter, Dunlin 60+, Ringed Plover 30+ including the ringed individual below.
