6 Caspian Gulls but still no White Winger!

Met up with Steve & Neil today for a full 8 hours on site, it was a bitter cold day today but the 6 Caspian Gulls kept us busy. Todays totals were 2 Adult, 1 3rd, 1 2nd and 2 1st winter Caspian Gulls, 4 Meds, 3 adult & 1 1st winter. ome of today's better photos are posted.
The above photo shows a 3rd winter Caspian Gull but I have cropped the photo and below you can get a better view.
Again here the photo below shows the same 3rd winter Caspian Gull and again the photo below this one shows a cropped version.
The above 3 photos shows you the exact same adult Caspian Gull with the pale eye as from last week, Steve said that he had received a couple of emails from people commenting on the pale eye of this bird and that they had concerns over its identity & on the birds origin and if it is a pure or half blood.
This 1st winter was quite loyal to the area today as we saw it at the very start of the daya nd again pretty much at the end.
There was a marked increase in Common gulls today including this bird above still retaining near full juvenile plumage, also the bird below was first considerred to be a Caspian Gull but doubt soon set in and th jury is out working out of this infact a half blood ??
