I am still on Koh Lanta taking it easy and enjoying the R&R and soaking up the sun, however there has been storms out in the Andaman Sea the previous night's but always distant. Well this evening they were not distant anymore and were right over us and the thunder, lightning and rain just hit. Photo above shows the night sky with the lightning lighting up the clouds and the photo below is of the beach near sun-set. Bird sightings include White Bellied Sea Eagle, Great & Lesser Crested Terns and I heard, what I believe to be a Barred Eagle the other night at 2 am. I leave to return to the estuary at Krabi soon and then on Bangkok to fly out on to Australia.
