"Housebound" that is the word that describes today. The dates and plans for our withdrawal from base were made clear today and even though it is still a long way off yet I still wanted to sort out and confirm the logistics. This involved several long and painful calls via skype through limited internet connections. I wasn't able to confirm my flight Anadyr to Moscow, however did manage to sort out and confirm Moscow back to Heathrow. A visit to the shop with Martin mid afternoon gave a break from the logistical side of things and later in the evening we discussed the plans for tomorrow (a busy day) with a 5 am start. So I will leave this posting here as it is now 00:30 and I have to be up in 4 and a half hours. So I bid you goodnight from a bright and wonderfully coloured sky above Meino tonight...
