Today started off very wet and a storm was passing through, it was very windy and there was the odd rumble of thunder. During breakfast I looked in to the options for ferries and flights to Sao Jorge, an Island I have not spent much time on previously. Afterwards I headed out to the quarry. Todays totals: Short Billed Dowitcher 1, White rumped sandpiper 3, Lesser yellow legs 3, Semi P Sand 4, Semi P Plover 3, Pectoral Sandpiper 11 and the Hudsonian Whimbrel put in an appearance actually in the quarry !
I thought I would sit and scan the rocks again and just sat there taking in the view and the swell of the sea. Below is a few poor quality videos from this trip so far.
