I was in Mersing on Thursday for work purposes and so unfortunately I never had the time to cover the high tide roost. I did manage 30 minutes at the end of the day when I had a stroll along the disused airfield. It was pretty quiet but just to get out and have a walk in the quiet was good.

Apart from that pretty quiet, upon returning to the island 3 Grey Faced Buzzards were present along with a couple of Japanese Sparrowhawk.
We now continue our preparations for the north east monsoon and the weather is changing a little each day, had some heavy rain in the night last night but was nice hearing it as I lay in a semi conscious state.
