Above and below shows you some of the Black-billed Gulls present at Miranda. These are a rather smart looking Gull. I find myself catching up with the scene back in the UK via blogs and the influx of white wingers is certainly what makes a good winters day back home. Certain tips and landfills in the south east are having a good run of birds and if I was back in the UK I would certainly be enjoying it. The only other Larus I have had out here during the southern hemisphere's summer months is Red-billed & Southern black backed's.
Above and below shows you some of the White fronted Terns present at Miranda. These are a smart Sterna. Other Terns have come in the forms of Caspian (up to 27) Gull billed (2) and a single Little.
