Well things have changed a bit on the island lately, firstly a few of us moved to the new living quarters on Long beach. Above shows my morning view, I had a cup of tea taking in the view this morning.
This is my new walk to work, I walk along the beach above where I keep my eyes open in the hope of seeing any Green Turtles of which I have seen a few just off the beach recently. Most views are like in the photo below. This morning during my walk to work I saw a single Green Turtle a Pacific Reef Egret and a Black Naped Tern.
I then pass the dive centre (above) which is still under construction and then head on to the boardwalk (below)
Then I reach the front beach and head to the office where we have a morning meeting and then start the day.
Above shows Long beach at high tide with a yacht in the distance and below shows the view of the island from the speed boat as I was heading to Mersing this afternoon.
